Dr. Pike graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Chemistry from Syracuse University in 1969 and earned his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1973. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine, with a fellowship in Gastroenterology from New York VA Hospital in 1979. He was a Teaching Assistant in Medicine at University Hospital in New York from 1974-1979.
